The Megalithic Temples of Malta are the eleven prehistoric temples. Seven of them are UNESCO World
Heritage Sites.
Ġgantija is the megalithic temple complex with two temples. Temples were built 5800 years ago. The
smaller temple is 150 years younger.
Ħaġar Qim is another megalithic temple complex. There are four temples and a monolith. This monolith
weighs about twenty tones.
Mnajdra is also a complex, which contains three prehistoric temples. To build these temples they used
materials, which were close to the temples.
Other complexes, which is on UNESCO World Heritage Sites areTa' Ħaġrat, Skorba, Ħal Tarxien.
